Looking back at the final quarter of 2022.
October 2022 was the highlight of the year as property sales were at their highest since 2007, according to National Statistics - 3,662 home sales in the Alicante province were resales and 523 were new builds.
The average home sales price during the 4th quarter of 2022 slumped to €146,750. This was more than a 25% decrease compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022. It’s not all bad news! Figures show it was still higher than the last quarters of 2021 and 2020!
As we push forward into 2023, we are expecting new build prices to increase. This is mainly because of the inflation in building material costs.
